Teacup will be starting Masters Ski and Coaching programs this season!!

Do note that the winter program begins in December. It is a bit too late to offer a formal fall program – that will wait until next year. That being said, Karl Andersson will be running informal training sessions regularly until the snow falls. At this time Karl hopes to make just about every Sunday/Wednesday workout until Thanksgiving.
In general the fall workouts will be every Sunday morning starting at 8am. Focus is on distance at intensity below VT1 (training concepts will be included in the mastersXC email list on a regular basis). Venue will usually be the Marine Drive bike path, starting at 33rd. There is a gravel parking lot by Pacific Power Boats. Google map here-
Wednesdays will be high intensity intervals, meeting at Mt Tabor. Intensity level is above VT2. Rollerskis are preferred, but running shoes and short poles are a great substitute (especially if there is a lot of fallen leaves and recent rain!). Start time is 4pm, however the localized venue makes it easy to show up much later. Workout generally lasts 1.5 hours.Here’s a map of the venue-
If you arrive late, the warm up area is the flat pavement adjoining Reservoir 5. The intervals will vary week by week, but they will start in one of two places, 1) Junction of Reservoir Loop Drive with the red trail crossing just above Reservoir 1, 2) junction of Tabor Summit Drive and the trail crossing just past Reservoir 7. Easy to find the group!Please note that for safety reasons, walking down to the start area after each hill climb is advised.
Any rollerski session will require the use of a bike helmet.
